Amy Sokol has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She
has taught at the elementary and college levels. She currently runs a business, Cooking with Care, and teaches cooking
classes in her own instructional kitchen. She also teaches and lectures at Williams-Sonoma, Sun Harvest, local health clubs, fitness stores, and
community continuing education courses. In addition, Amy has taught along side physicians and nutritionists and provides presentations for corporate wellness programs. Amy's recipes have been published locally, and several have been published nationally in Cooking
Light magazine.

Her biggest accomplishment though, is cooking delicious and nutritious meals for her family (husband and daughters ages 15
and 17). She reads extensively on the subjects of food, cooking and nutrition. She also enjoys special occasion cooking and
party planning. Amy loves to cook and loves to teach, combining the two is her dream job.

Amy's goal is to teach people how to cook, and enjoy it. She believes everyone can cook, with a little inspiration and a few
new skills. She is passionate about getting people out of restaurants and to-go lines, and getting them in to their
kitchens. Learning to cook simple, delicious, and nutritious meals will enhance your health, and your life.
