Watermelon Salad

Looking for a new way to cool off with watermelon? This salad is so refreshing and has so many flavors- sweet from the melon, tart from the lemon vinaigrette, a little bitterness from the arugula and salty from the feta to bring it all together!! Be sure to use a good size watermelon slab for the base! This salad is perfect for this warm holiday weekend! Click on the link at the bottom of this page to print out the recipe. The picture above is missing the cucumber in the recipe so feel free to improvise.

And now for an update about when my kitchen will reopen!
Classes will resume on July 7th!

For this first class back, I will limit the class size to 6 and require a handwashing as you come into class.
I will not require a face mask, it is a cooking class after all, but you will be free to wear one. I will not be teaching with a face mask on. I will go with the assumption that anyone that feels sick or exposed will not be attending class.

I hope this will comfort most, but will also be offering it again as a “virtual” class for those that are not ready to come back to class.
Details about the next class “Spanish Summer” will be coming out on June 1.

I do look forward to seeing you very soon!
