No-Recipe Smoothie



Need something healthy to cool you off in this Texas heat?

Thought I would share how I make my smoothies, no recipe needed. I fill my glass with frozen mixed berries and a bit of frozen banana. Then I fill the glass with almond milk. Add this to a blender, along with some healthy add-ons such as chia seeds, hemp protein powder and/or some nut butter; blend and enjoy!

Look out for details on an all new “Health-Mex” menu coming out mid-August that will be offered in September and October!

Spanish Summer “Do-Over”




Spanish Summer-
The ultimate family-style dish, Paella, is demystified in this great class. We will make the ultimate one-pan meal, Paella Valenciana- the original paella with chicken and vegetables. This healthful and delicious entertaining, or everyday menu will also include: Romesco Sauce with Garlic Crostini; Piquillo Pepper-Smoked Paprika Aioli with Grilled Asparagus; and Sangria Fruit Salad for a sweet ending.

This class is a tweaked compilation of several Spanish classes I have taught in the past, a summer “rerun” for some of you! It is also the class I had to cancel in 2020-can’t re-do the whole year but we can re-do this class!

Dates for the new menu will be posted early Tuesday morning – July 12th. This new class will run through August on select dates. This week I am taking reservations for private groups of 8. Please visit my website July 12th to see available August dates.

If you are interested in taking this class with several friends, please respond early next week, and I will make every effort to get you into the class together. As always, please try to give a couple of date choices when making your request.
